2025 LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia Packs a Surprise!
A fresh edition of the LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia is set for release in April 2025, and it will feature an exclusive minifigure. Historically, the identity of these minifigures is kept secret until closer to launch.
However, this time, Barnes & Noble has already let slip that it will be Emperor Palpatine in his distinctive red and black robes as seen in ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’. This reveal will surely excite many collectors and fans who are eager to get their hands on it.
If you’re planning to secure this figure for your collection, you can already pre-order the book from Barnes & Noble or Amazon for $21.99.

The encyclopedia itself promises to be an engaging read, showcasing the top 200 Minifigures from the Star Wars universe.
This includes characters from recent Disney+ series such as ‘The Mandalorian’, ‘Ahsoka’, and ‘The Bad Batch’, alongside new versions of classic characters from the Skywalker Saga.
In related news, LEGO has launched the Jabba’s Sail Barge (75397) as part of their Ultimate Collector Series earlier this month.

This intricate set includes 3,942 pieces and features parts that can be removed to reveal a detailed interior complete with a cockpit, prison cell, armory, kitchen, and an entertainment room featuring Jabba’s bed.
The set comes with an impressive lineup of 11 minifigures including Jabba the Hutt, Princess Leia in her Huttslayer attire, Bib Fortuna, C-3PO, and others like Salacious Crumb and R2-D2 with a bar table accessory.
The barge can be displayed on an included stand that features an information plaque and a LEGO Star War 25th anniversary brick, all available for $499.99 directly from the LEGO website.
Whether you’re adding a new figure to your collection or building a massive set piece by piece, these new offerings from LEGO Star Wars are sure to bring plenty of excitement!
