In the upcoming comic series by Marvel, the Time Variance Authority, or TVA, continues its crucial role in managing the timeline to prevent catastrophic events.

Originally introduced in 1986 in ‘Thor #372,’ the TVA has maintained its presence across various Marvel comics, including ‘Fantastic Four’ and ‘What If…?’, and more recently in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ‘Loki’ and ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’

This new series blends the comic book TVA with its depiction in the MCU, described by ‘Loki’ production designer Kasra Farahani as a unique mix of ‘Eastern European, Soviet-influenced Modernism’ with elements of Brutalism and mid-century Modern design.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige expressed his excitement about the project at San Diego Comic-Con, emphasizing the thrill of integrating cinematic elements into comic narratives.

‘TVA #1,’ set to hit the shelves on Dec. 18, will feature a team of heroes from erased timelines, including Captain Peggy Carter as the super-soldier from her universe, a disheartened Gambit, and Spider-Gwen, raising questions about the fate of her world.

Marvel has shared a sneak peek at the first pages of the issue, showcasing the diverse and dynamic artwork by Pere Pรฉrez.

We’re thrilled to see how these beloved characters from different universes and timelines come together to save the multiverse under the guidance of TVA Agent Mobius, O.B., B-15, and the iconic Miss Minutes.
