Sony’s SSU film, ‘Kraven the Hunter’, is creating a buzz as it gears up for its release next month. Rated R, the movie will be the longest in the Spider-Man Universe, clocking in at 1 hour and 59 minutes.

Insider Daniel Richtman shared on his Patreon that while the film is ‘okay,’ it still manages to outshine ‘Venom: The Last Dance’.

In this new movie, Kraven, portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, is entangled in a deadly game orchestrated by the villainous Nikolai Kravinoff, played by Russell Crowe.

Kraven is initially manipulated by Calypso (Ariana DeBose) to thwart a scheme by corrupt magnate Gregory Herd (Alessandro Nivola), known as the Gathering of the Five.

As the plot thickens, familial ties are revealed—Chameleon (Fred Hechinger), hired by Herd, turns out to be Kraven’s brother.

The stakes are raised when it becomes clear that their father, Nikolai, is the mastermind, and Calypso, who was deceiving Kraven, switches sides due to her love for him.

The film is helmed by J.C. Chandor, with the screenplay written by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk.

Produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, and David Householter, it features the collaborative effort of Columbia Pictures, Marvel Entertainment, TSG Entertainment, and Arad Productions.

Mark your calendars for December 13, 2024, when ‘Kraven the Hunter’ hits theaters, promising an intense and action-packed experience.
