The Shocking Sci-Fi Story Arcbound: How Tom Hardy Helped Create a Tale That Questions Humanity’s Future
Arcbound #1 introduces a futuristic universe where Earth is no longer habitable. In this new world, the Zynitec corporation exploits an energy source called Kronium to extend its reach across space.
The story follows Kai, a promising member of Zynitec’s army who works as a ‘Mediator.’ Kai’s loyalty is put to the test when a mysterious message challenges everything he’s been led to believe. This journey pushes him to confront what it means to be human, especially in a universe where technology and identity have become intertwined.

This new sci-fi series is the creation of Scott Snyder and Frank Tieri, with art by Ryan Smallman and coloring by Frank William.
Notably, Tom Hardy is involved, contributing creative ideas and bringing his vision to the project. This marks a unique collaboration, as Hardy, known for his roles in Venom and Mad Max, adds a fresh perspective to the storytelling.

The series is planned as a 12-issue arc, bringing together an impressive team, including variant covers by Ryan Ottley, Clay Mann, Tyler Kirkham, Rose Besch, and Dan Panosian.
The story also explores deeper themes of power, control, and survival as Zynitec’s ambitions drive it to claim more resources, showing little regard for the lives impacted.
Kai’s journey brings a personal conflict to the larger narrative, questioning the limits of loyalty and the true cost of obedience.
