‘Agatha All Along’ Showrunner Talks About The Fate Of Wanda & The Scarlet Witch

Marvel Studios’ latest hit on Disney+, ‘Agatha All Along’, has kicked off with episodes that dive deep into the mysteries left by Wanda Maximoff’s chaotic actions in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. After seemingly meeting her end under Mount Wundagore’s ruins, a quick glimpse of red light had fans speculating if Wanda, also known as the Scarlet Witch, might have survived. Yet, the premiere suggests otherwise, introducing a ‘Jane Doe’ detective that Agnes declares is firmly deceased. But the big question remains—what happened to Wanda if the Scarlet Witch is no more?

While Schaeffer emphasizes that ‘Agatha All Along’ centers on Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, he did not completely rule out Elizabeth Olsen’s appearance in future episodes.

There’s a strong vibe that Olsen’s Wanda might pop up, especially given how frequently her character is mentioned in the early episodes. Such a cameo would align with Marvel’s knack for connecting dots across its expansive universe.

The series itself takes viewers on a thrilling ride with Agatha Harkness, who finds herself powerless and manipulated by a mysterious goth Teen. This unlikely duo embarks on a perilous journey known as the Witches’ Road, which promises to restore what a witch has lost, provided they survive its challenges.
