Antony Starr’s DCU Debut Sparks Excitement for Possible Roles
Antony Starr, best known for his role as Homelander in ‘The Boys’, is sparking rumors about joining the DCU. Homelander, a psychopathic superhero, has become Starr’s signature role, making it hard to imagine him as anyone else.
So, how is Starr connected to the DCU? Well, he isn’t officially. But fans noticed something interesting recently. Starr and James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, started following each other on Instagram. This kind of social media interaction usually hints at a possible collaboration, and naturally, we started speculating about what role Starr might take on.

The most obvious choice is another psychopath from the DC Universe: Reverse-Flash. Given Starr’s chilling portrayal of Homelander, he seems like a perfect fit. However, some of us also pointed out that with all the talk about a Booster Gold show, Starr could be considered for the main character due to their similar looks.
Another possibility is Starr joining ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2. The show is about to start filming, and with Frank Grillo recently cast as Rick Flag Sr., there’s still room for new cast members. Starr could easily fit into this ensemble.
Regardless of what happens with the DCU, Starr’s schedule is packed. ‘The Boys’ Season 5 is in development and will be the final season of the series. Plus, there’s the highly anticipated Season 2 of the ‘Gen V’ spinoff.
Starr’s future is definitely bright, whether he joins the DCU or not. We can’t wait to see where he lands next.
