Bane and Deathstroke Teaming Up in New DC Studios Movie

In a surprising twist for DC movie fans, it looks like Gotham’s notorious villains Bane and Deathstroke are gearing up for their own live-action film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, DC Studios has greenlit a project that will see these two iconic antagonists potentially join forces or battle it out on the big screen.

While specifics on the plot remain under wraps, the buzz is that Matthew Orton, known for his work on ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ is busy penning the script. As of now, the film is still on the lookout for a director to helm this intriguing venture.

Both villains are no strangers to moviegoers. Tom Hardy memorably portrayed Bane in ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ directed by Christopher Nolan, while Joe Manganiello briefly appeared as Slade Wilson, also known as Deathstroke, in a post-credits scene from Joss Whedon’s version of ‘Justice League.’

Speculation is rife that Dave Bautista might chase the role of Bane, especially given his interest in the character and his connections with James Gunn from their days on ‘Guardians of the Galaxy.’ Whether Bane and Deathstroke will team up against Batman or become adversaries to each other is still up in the air, but a confrontation seems likely either way.

There’s also talk that these characters could cross paths with Batman in the upcoming ‘The Brave and The Bold’ movie, though no concrete details have been confirmed. What’s clear is that DC Studios is setting the stage for some thrilling developments in their cinematic universe, and we can’t wait to see where this leads.
