Beck Bennett Joins James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ Movie
Beck Bennett, known for his time on Saturday Night Live, is joining the cast of James Gunn’s Superman movie. This film, which is currently being shot in Atlanta, has David Corenswet starring as Clark Kent, and Rachel Brosnahan playing Lois Lane.
Bennett will play one of the reporters at the Daily Planet. The rest of the cast is pretty exciting too. Nicholas Hoult is taking on the role of the villain Lex Luthor. Skyler Gisondo will be Jimmy Olsen. Wendell Pierce plays Perry White, the editor in chief at the Daily Planet, and Sara Sampaio is Eve Teschmacher.
Beck Bennett has been cast in James Gunn’s ‘SUPERMAN’ in an unknown role.

The movie isn’t just about Superman and his friends. It will also feature other DC heroes. Edi Gathegi is Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan is Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion is Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced is Hawkgirl, and María Gabriela de Faría is playing The Engineer.
Beck Bennett spent eight seasons on Saturday Night Live, from 2013 to 2021. He has done a lot of voice work, including 2023’s Nimona and Disney Channel’s Random Things. He recently appeared in Unfrosted, a Netflix comedy directed and starred by Jerry Seinfeld.
James Gunn’s Superman is set to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. It’s great to see how this cast is shaping up and we can’t wait to see them in action.
