Deadpool and Wolverine Return to Action in New Marvel Series
Marvel Comics has announced a fresh series titled Deadpool/Wolverine, bringing together the fan-favorite characters in an ongoing adventure.
Crafted by writer Benjamin Percy of X-Force fame and artist Joshua Cassera, known for his work on X-Men, this series promises a blend of humor, thrills, and high-octane action.
Benjamin Percy shared with IGN that the new series draws its inspiration from R-rated action classics of the ’80s like Commando and Rambo: First Blood Part II.

He emphasized that the series will be packed with non-stop action and could even see action stars like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, or Van Damme popping up in its pages.
The backstory of Wade Wilson and Logan, both transformed into lethal beings by the Weapon X program, sets the stage for their camaraderie and conflicts.
Despite not being influenced directly by their recent film, Percy mentions that fans who enjoyed the dynamic of the duo in theaters will find the series familiar and engaging.
The first issue, Deadpool/Wolverine #1, is set to hit the shelves on January 1, 2025, and Marvel has already given a sneak peek at what to expect.

The series aims to capture the spirit of a ‘gonzo 80s action movie’ with its thrilling narrative and visually compelling artwork.
Percy, alongside his team including editor Mark Basso, is excited to bring this energetic and sometimes violent friendship back to life in the pages of Marvel Comics.
