‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Deleted Scene Sees Welshpool Drop The MCU’s First True C-Bomb
In a recent social media update, Ryan Reynolds shared an edgy deleted scene from ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ which is now streaming on Disney+.
The clip features a sharp exchange of words among members of the Deadpool Corps, highlighting the film’s venture into R-rated territory.
The scene kicks off with the Deadpool Corps pausing their brawls to welcome Peter, sparking a round of quirky introductions.
However, Deadpool, portrayed by Earth-10005’s variant, finds himself on the receiving end of some harsh rebuffs.
Kidpool sharply dismisses him, while another member suggests he returns to Canada in a not-so-warm farewell.
But the most jarring moment comes when Welshpool, enacted by Wrexham footballer Paul Mullins, delivers a particularly crude insult, nearly marking the MCU’s first unabridged use of the c-word.
This bold moment was ultimately cut from the film, though the line “thunderc*** from down underc***” did make the final edit.
This scene not only showcases the cheeky humor the franchise is known for but also sets the stage for potential future alliances within the Deadpool Corps.
Created specifically for this film, Welshpool nods to the Wrexham A.F.C., a club co-owned by Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and featured in the documentary ‘Welcome to Wrexham.’
‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has been met with acclaim, described in our July review as possibly the best superhero movie yet.
