‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Smashes Day-One Ticket Sales Record

Deadpool and Wolverine tickets went on sale on May 20, and they sold incredibly well on Fandango. The ticket-seller announced that the first-day pre-sales for Deadpool and Wolverine are the biggest of 2024 so far. Even more impressive, these sales are the highest in the franchise’s history.

To mark this achievement, Fandango released a new image of Deadpool and Wolverine. In the picture, Deadpool has his signature shocked face, while Wolverine stands next to him looking buff.

You can order tickets for Deadpool and Wolverine now through Fandango. The movie is set to hit theaters on July 26. It’s Marvel’s only film coming to cinemas until 2025, making it a must-see event.

Adding to the excitement, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman teamed up for a Heineken beer ad to promote both the film and the drink. In the humorous ad, Deadpool steals some of Wolverine’s adamantium to create a new Heineken brew called Heineken Silver. Released in April, Heineken Silver is brewed at -1°C for a better taste, according to the company.

Deadpool and Wolverine is the first new Deadpool film since Deadpool 2 came out in 2018. This is the first one made after Disney bought the Deadpool franchise. Some people worried Disney might tone things down, but that’s not the case. Ryan Reynolds recently shared his surprise at how much they were allowed to do with the film’s R rating.

Reynolds said he was proud of Disney and Marvel for this. He mentioned that it adds a new color to their already diverse entertainment lineup. Reynolds was surprised by how far they could go, calling the movie a ‘hard R’.

Deadpool and Wolverine’s record-breaking ticket sales and the fun Heineken ad show just how excited we are for this film. It looks like it’s going to be a wild ride that stays true to what we love about Deadpool and Wolverine.
