Disney’s upcoming movie, Haunted Mansion, has undergone yet another release date adjustment, but this time with good news for fans. The initial release date set for August 11, 2023, has been brought forward to July 28, 2023. The announcement was made in conjunction with The Marvels, which has unfortunately been delayed.
The movie encountered several changes to its release date before this. Originally planned to hit theaters in March 2023, the movie was postponed last year for five months. Thankfully, the most recent modification has brought the release date earlier rather than later.
Haunted Mansion follows the story of a single mother named Gabbie, who hires a team of specialists – including a tour guide, psychic, priest, and historian – to help her exorcise ghosts inhabiting her newly purchased mansion. Fans of the supernatural and horror genre can look forward to this exciting plotline hitting the big screen in a matter of months.
Jared Leto, Jamie Lee Curtis, Winona Ryder, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Tiffany Haddish, LaKeith Stanfield, and Hasan Minhaj are all set to star in the upcoming Disney movie Haunted Mansion. The movie is being directed by Justin Simien, known for his work in “Dear White People,” with the screenplay written by Katie Dippold of “Parks and Recreation.”
The production of Haunted Mansion is under the expertise of Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who are responsible for the 2019 live-action adaptation of Aladdin under their production company, Rideback. Additionally, Nick Reynolds from Rideback is serving as the executive producer for the movie. With an all-star cast and a reputable production team, Haunted Mansion is shaping up to be a promising release.
