Elizabeth Olsen has opened up about the potential of reprising her role as Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Despite her character’s apparent death in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ in 2022, fans are still hoping to see her return.

In an interview with FM 104 (via Elizabeth Olsen Updates), Olsen mentioned that there was a period when the creators weren’t sure how to effectively integrate her character into the storyline. She expressed her fondness for the role, stating, ‘It’s a character I love going back to when there’s a way to use her well and I think I’ve been lucky when I started I was used well… and they kind of didn’t know what to do with me for a second there! If there’s a good way to use her, I’m always happy to come back.’

As for how Scarlet Witch could reappear in the MCU, there are several upcoming projects that could pave the way for her return. The series ‘Agatha All Along,’ set to continue the story of Agatha Harkness from ‘WandaVision,’ is speculated to feature Scarlet Witch’s resurrection. This would not be surprising, given the character’s connections in the storyline.

Additionally, there are rumors that Olsen might return in the ‘Vision’ TV show, the third part of the ‘WandaVision’ series. This show, which is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2026, follows Vision as he seeks his own path in the MCU and could potentially explore the resurgence of Scarlet Witch after ‘Agatha All Along.’

While nothing is confirmed yet, it wouldn’t be surprising if Scarlet Witch makes an appearance in the MCU’s future projects, especially with ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ rumored to set up a new phase in the MCU. Fans will have to wait to see what the future holds for Olsen and her character.
