Exciting News for ‘Hawkeye’ Fans as Hints of Season 2 Emerge
Three years have passed since ‘Hawkeye’ graced our screens on Disney+, featuring Clint Barton as he handed over his bow to Kate Bishop. The show, which received glowing reviews, might be gearing up for a second season as new footage is set to be released soon.
While a second season isn’t confirmed yet, the anticipation builds with the upcoming release of collector’s editions for several Disney+ Original Series, including ‘Hawkeye’.
Disney announced these special Steelbook editions for series such as ‘Ahsoka’, ‘The Mandalorian’ season 3, ‘Loki’ season 2, and ‘Hawkeye’, as reported on ComicBookMovie.com.
These editions will feature a variety of extras like behind-the-scenes clips, deleted scenes, and even gag reels. Notably, the ‘Hawkeye’ Steelbook is labeled “The Complete First Season”, sparking speculation about the continuation of the series.

The impact of ‘Hawkeye’ on the MCU’s portrayal of street-level narratives has been significant. Following the show, Maya Lopez received her own series, ‘Echo’, which brought back Kingpin and Daredevil.
The plot thickens as Kingpin aims for political dominance in New York City, setting the stage potentially for ‘Devil’s Reign’—a storyline where Wilson Fisk targets all vigilantes.
We also saw Kate Bishop team up with Kamala Khan in ‘The Marvels’, and Yelena Belova join the Thunderbolts. Unlike standalone series such as ‘WandaVision’ or ‘Ms. Marvel’, ‘Hawkeye’ laid the groundwork for more expansive storytelling within the MCU.
With characters like Lucky, Jack Duquesne, and Eleanor Bishop just starting their journeys, and Jack potentially embracing his Swordsman persona, there’s plenty of material for a thrilling ‘Hawkeye’ season 2.
Given the MCU’s attentive approach to developing its street-level characters and narratives, it seems quite likely that ‘Hawkeye’ will return for a second season.
Whether it involves Kate Bishop challenging Mayor Fisk’s laws or embarking on new adventures with heroes like Jessica Jones or Spider-Man, the prospects for her future in the MCU are looking bright.
