Fans Want Alexandra Daddario as X-Men Rogue

Marvel’s X-Men are officially joining the MCU, and there’s a buzz about who will play these iconic characters. So far, the X-Men introduced are familiar faces from previous films by 20th Century Fox, but new actors are expected to refresh the lineup soon.

Fans are particularly eager to see Rogue, famously portrayed by Anna Paquin, recast to match her more confident and powerful comic book version. Unlike her movie counterpart, Rogue in the comics is a bold Southern Belle with considerable powers, quite different from the reserved character seen on screen.

Amidst this excitement, Alexandra Daddario emerges as a top choice to embody this character. Known for her striking similarity to the comic book Rogue and her strong acting skills, Daddario has captured fans’ attention. In fact, a piece of concept art by digital artist Diamond Dead shows her as Rogue, and it’s stunning. This art showcases her in Rogue’s classic green and yellow jumpsuit and signature brown and white hair.

Daddario has expressed her openness to superhero roles, even though she hasn’t yet confirmed any talks with Marvel Studios. Her previous roles, including voicing Lois Lane and her on-screen presence in various projects, showcase her versatility and readiness for a part like this.

At 37, Daddario matches the age and appearance of the Rogue many of us remember from the 1990s. This factor, along with her proven talent, makes her a promising candidate for the role in upcoming X-Men projects within the MCU.

With Deadpool and Wolverine slated to bring X-Men into the MCU fold, the timing seems perfect. While it’s up to Marvel to make the final call, many of us can already see Daddario stealing the show as Rogue. The question remains, will she be the one to bring this beloved character back to her roots? Only time will tell, but the anticipation is certainly building.
