Henry Cavill’s Warhammer Project at Amazon Could be Dead in the Water

Rumors are swirling that Amazon might put Henry Cavill’s eagerly anticipated Warhammer 40,000 project on hold. Since its announcement two years ago in 2022, there hasn’t been much progress reported, except Cavill’s own excitement about the project after his departure from Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ series.

Recently, a Twitter account named Cine Updates, or @Updates4Cinema, shared a claim from ‘Arch of The ArchCast’ suggesting the project might be shelved. This rumor has sparked a mixed reaction among us fans. Some question the reliability of the source, with one fan joking, ‘Source: Trust me bro.’ Others think shelving the project might not be such a bad idea, fearing it could end up being a disaster. Another commented, ‘lmao imagine using archcast as any kind of reliable source.’

While the authenticity of these claims is debated, whispers that Cavill is stepping away have been making rounds for a while. Despite the buzz, neither the cast nor crew has come forward to confirm or deny these rumors.

Still, it’s surprising that there has been absolutely no information about this show for at least a year now. With such a big show and a big name attached, we would expect to hear more about it.

We’re still holding onto hope that it’s still in the works. But as time ticks on, we’re all getting a bit anxious for some concrete updates.
