Tessa Thompson’s King Valkyrie May Have a Role in ‘Thor 5’ Due to Valhalla Connection

In a recent Q&A on The Cosmic Circus Discord, Alex Perez shared some exciting insights about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One intriguing detail was about Tessa Thompson’s King Valkyrie possibly having a role in ‘Thor 5’ due to her connection to Valhalla. While Perez didn’t confirm much about her specific role, he mentioned that her storyline might continue there, hinting at interesting developments for her character.

Perez also discussed the future of other Marvel projects. He believes Secret Wars could be split into two films because there are too many stories to fit into just one. He also mentioned hearing about a possible adaptation of the Avengers Assemble/Avengers: Forever event, involving a Multiversal Council of Mephisto variants. This could be an exciting direction for the saga.

When asked about potential new seasons for shows like Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, and Echo, Perez said it might take a while since these characters will appear in other projects before getting their second seasons. He also speculated on the potential directors for Avengers 5, with Shawn Levy being a name in the mix.

On the topic of Blade, Perez expressed confidence in Mahershala Ali’s vision and hinted that Brother Voodoo might appear in the future. For the Captain America: Brave New World and World War Hulk storyline, Perez mentioned a ‘World War Storyline’ that’s been building up across various MCU projects. This storyline might culminate in governments creating their own Hulks, leading to a possible showdown with Red Hulk.

Regarding Daredevil: Born Again, Perez teased the introduction of the villain Muse and hinted at the possibility of a one-take hallway sequence similar to those in the original show. He also expects Wilson Fisk’s role as NYC’s mayor to last a while and extend beyond Daredevil: Born Again.

Lastly, when asked about Doctor Strange 3, Perez noted that Stephen Strange’s story needs at least a third movie or several Avengers films to be properly explored. This is crucial for setting up the events leading to Secret Wars.
