The climax of these debates was the origin of the twins, Osha and Mae, being linked to the Force.
Headland clarified that these twins, created through Force manipulation similar to Anakin Skywalker, don’t threaten Anakin’s unique role as the Chosen One. Anakin, according to George Lucas’ original lore, was destined to balance the Force. The introduction of the twins led some to feel this diluted Anakin’s significance.
