Letitia Wright is excited about the possibility of returning as Shuri in upcoming Marvel projects. During a recent episode of ‘The View‘, Wright hinted at her continued involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She expressed her love for Shuri, calling the role ‘a blessing’ and ‘one of her favorite characters’.

In an engaging discussion, host Sunny Hostin asked about the potential of ‘Black Panther 3’. Wright responded with a smile, saying ‘There’s a lot coming up’. This has sparked excitement among us, eager to see what’s next for Shuri.

Back in January 2023, Wright mentioned to Variety that a third Black Panther movie might be in the pipeline, though Marvel hasn’t made any official announcement yet. Her role as Shuri began with Ryan Coogler’s 2018 film ‘Black Panther’ and continued with the 2022 sequel ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. Besides, she also appeared in two Avengers movies: ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’.

Shuri, the younger sister of T’Challa, played by the late Chadwick Boseman, steps up as the new Black Panther in ‘Wakanda Forever’ after her brother’s death. Boseman, who first brought T’Challa to life, passed away in 2020 due to cancer.

Reflecting on personal losses, Lupita Nyong’o, a fellow star from ‘Black Panther’, recently marked the third anniversary of Boseman’s death with a touching Instagram post, sharing her struggle to find joy again.

Letitia Wright isn’t just sticking to acting; she’s also venturing into production. She’s involved in a new movie titled ‘Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot’, set to release on July 4. This project shows her expanding her horizons within the film industry.

As we anticipate more news from Marvel, the hints dropped by Wright keep our hopes high for Shuri’s return in the much-awaited ‘Black Panther 3’. We can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next in the Marvel universe.
