Marvel Fans Are Sure That Mephisto Has at Last Arrived in the MCU

In 2021, while we all perfected the art of handwashing, Marvel’s ‘WandaVision’ on Disney Plus captured hearts worldwide. The show was a success, thanks in part to being housebound during the pandemic, but it was more than just a pastime.

It was a well-crafted slow-burn mystery that left us guessing after each episode. One recurring question was whether various characters were Mephisto, the devil of the Marvel universe. Despite the theories, he never appeared in the show.

Fast forward to now, and ‘Agatha All Along,’ a follow-up to ‘WandaVision,’ has rekindled the Mephisto speculation. This time, there seems to be more substance to the theories. The demon was mentioned for the first time in the MCU in an episode of this series. Considering his close ties to Agatha and her son, it makes sense.

The latest trailer for ‘Agatha All Along’ threw us another clue. It showed a shadowy figure in a split-second shot, standing with their back turned, donning a stylish bucket hat. While it’s tough to say who it is just from their silhouette, the excitement among us is palpable; many believe it’s Mephisto at last making a physical appearance in the MCU.

While it’s tempting to get carried away with these speculations, it’s wise to keep our expectations in check. It would be exciting if Marvel introduced such a significant threat in a smaller-scale show, but only time will tell if this figure really is Mephisto.

In conclusion, while nothing is certain, the clues are lining up better than ever before for Mephisto’s grand entrance. Let’s stay tuned to see if the master of mischief will finally reveal himself in the MCU.
