It’s been a long silence since the announcement of Marvelโ€™s Blade by Arkane Studios almost a year ago. Fans have been left hanging with hardly any updates or a release date, but recently, Arkane Studios delivered a pleasant surprise.

The game was first unveiled at The Game Awards in 2023, hinting at an exciting collaboration involving Arkane Studios, Bethesda, and Xbox. They introduced Marvelโ€™s Blade with a brief trailer that promises a fresh narrative drawn from the rich comic book lore.

This action-packed title is set to immerse players in the world of Eric Brooks, the legendary Daywalker who is half-man, half-vampire, caught between living society and the undead’s allure.

Produced by Arkane Lyon along with Bethesda โ€” the teams behind hits like Dishonoured and Deathloop โ€” Marvelโ€™s Blade is a mature, single-player, third-person game, set in Paris. Despite the initial excitement, details about the game have been sparse since its teaser last December.

However, we finally got a new glimpse of the titular character thanks to art shared by Sรฉbastien Mitton, art/co-creative director at Arkane. The artwork features a lineup of characters from Arkaneโ€™s past games, with Blade positioned in the back-left, sporting his iconic glasses and vampire fangs. This is the first look at Arkaneโ€™s rendition of Blade since the gameโ€™s teaser.

Unfortunately, the reveal didnโ€™t come with any additional information about the gameโ€™s release. We still donโ€™t know when it will be available, leaving us eager but still in the dark about the exact timing.

At least we now know Arkane hasnโ€™t forgotten about Blade, keeping the anticipation alive among us. The wait continues, but the excitement has definitely been rekindled with this latest peek at whatโ€™s to come in Marvelโ€™s Blade.
