Marvel Star Teases Our New MCU Loki, and It’s a Great Choice
In a recent chat with Metro, Richard E Grant expressed his eagerness to return as classic Loki in the MCU.
Although Tom Hiddleston’s version of Loki is currently on pause, Grant is ready to jump back into the yellow and green costume, muscles or not.
He joked about his physique during the interview, mentioning his lack of natural muscle tone which was cleverly disguised with a cape in the show.
Grant fondly recalled his role in the Disney+ series ‘Loki,’ where he played a pivotal part despite not wearing the muscle suit typically associated with superhero characters.

His portrayal as the older Loki variant came complete with the iconic full-horned helmet, a nod to the character’s classic comic book appearance.
While his character did meet a heroic end to aid other Lokis, Grant remains hopeful about a possible return. As fans know, in the world of comic books and the MCU, endings aren’t always as final as they seem.
Kevin Wright, the showrunner, has previously mentioned that they wouldn’t rush into a third season without a compelling story.
For now, the show remains on hiatus, but the door isn’t completely closed for the classic Loki to make a comeback.
If the right storyline emerges, Grant and Wright seem prepared to revisit the mischievous God of Mischief’s world.
