Marvel Studios Unveils Exciting New Trailers for Thunderbolts*, Daredevil, and More!
Marvel Studios is rolling out fresh footage celebrating its 85th anniversary, offering fans glimpses of highly anticipated projects set to launch in 2025 and beyond. Key highlights from the new trailer include sneak peeks at the Thunderbolts* film, the Daredevil series revival, and the introduction of Harrison Ford as Red Hulk in the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World. Notably, these snippets were previously showcased at San Diego Comic-Con and Disney’s D23 Expo, but they’re now accessible to a broader audience, stirring up considerable excitement.
At the heart of the new footage, revealed by Entertainment Weekly, is the first look at Thunderbolts*, featuring a mix of humor and intense action. The trailer introduces us to a rather disheveled Alexei, portrayed by David Harbour, who hurriedly tries to tidy up his messy apartment as Yelena, played by Florence Pugh, arrives.
She’s there to confess a troubling personal revelationโshe’s a contract killer and suspects that there’s a conspiracy to eliminate them all. Meanwhile, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky makes an appearance in a courtroom, and a tense showdown unfolds involving Yelena in a corridor fight, reminiscent of a similar scene from Iron Man 2.
The Thunderbolts* footage, detailed by ComicBook’s Phase Zero podcast from their SDCC coverage, also throws in surprises like a tense scene featuring Loki’s scepter and a dramatic transformation of a room into a furnace. The setting includes what might be the Avengers Tower, adding a familiar backdrop to the new narrative twists.
Additionally, the trailer offers a peek at Charlie Cox reprising his role as the iconic Hell’s Kitchen defender in Daredevil: Born Again and introduces Dominique Thorne returning as Riri Williams in Ironheart, the next series for Disney+.
Adding to the intrigue, Marvel Studios teased the appearance of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom and the newly titled Avengers: Doomsday, further expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The tone of the Thunderbolts* movie is distinctly gritty, marked by dark color tones and a soundtrack that lends a slightly delirious feel to the intense visuals. This new footage not only revives beloved characters but also promises a thrilling continuation of Marvel’s storied legacy. Fans will surely be on the edge of their seats as they await these next chapters in Marvel’s cinematic saga.
