‘My Hero Academia’ Season 7 Drops a New Trailer

My Hero Academia' Season 7

The wait is almost over for My Hero Academia fans as the series gears up for its Season 7 debut with a fresh trailer. Ahead of the much-anticipated May 4 premiere, we’ve been treated to a 30-second glimpse that’s got us talking. But there’s more on the horizon. Starting April 6, a 4-part special, My Hero Academia: Memories, will take us on a trip down memory lane. It’s not just a recap; expect new scenes that will bridge us to the upcoming season.

The excitement doesn’t stop there. The trailer revealed that TK from Ling tosite sigure is bringing his unique sound to the opening theme of season 7, setting the stage for what promises to be an electrifying start. With Studio Bones leading the charge on animation and Kenji Nagasaki at the helm as chief director, we’re in good hands. The creative team is rounded out by Naomi Nakayama directing, Yosuke Kuroda on series composition, and the talented duo Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima on character design. Yuki Hayashi will continue to enchant us with his musical compositions.

A day before this reveal, another teaser dropped featuring Deku and Shigaraki, adding to the buzz. And the news doesn’t end with season 7. The My Hero Academia: You’re Next movie, set for an August 2, 2024 release, promises an original story in a collapsed society, overseen by the manga’s author Kohei Horikoshi himself. Plus, a special episode focused on a card game, My Hero Academia: UA Heroes Battle, was released last October, adding another layer to this expansive universe.

Since its debut in 2016, My Hero Academia has captured our hearts. Adapted from Kohei Horikoshi’s manga, the series has delivered six seasons of heroic highs and lows. It’s a tale of determination, as we follow Izuku, a boy with dreams of heroism in a world where superpowers are the norm, yet he has none. His journey to enroll in a prestigious hero academy, despite his lack of “quirk,” has inspired many. With Crunchyroll streaming the series, it’s easy to jump in and join the adventure.
