Rumor: Knull to Appear in ‘Venom: The Last Dance’

‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is generating a lot of buzz with rumors that Knull might make an appearance. Knull is a powerful supervillain in Marvel Comics, known for creating the symbiotes. This news comes from @Cryptic4KQual on social media.

‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is the upcoming sequel to ‘Venom’ (2018) and ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ (2021). It’s the fifth film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock and Venom. The film also stars Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Clark Backo. Kelly Marcel is writing and directing the movie.

Tom Hardy confirmed in August 2018 that he would be in a third Venom film. By December 2021, development had started after the release of the second film. Marcel and Hardy were working on the script by June 2022. Marcel was set to direct the film in October of that year. More cast members joined in mid-2023. Filming started in June 2023 in Spain but was paused due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Filming resumed in November and was nearly done by early 2024 when the title was revealed.

‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is set to be released in the United States on October 25, 2024.

Knull, introduced in Venom vol. 4 #3, is an ancient deity who created the symbiotes. He’s a significant villain in the Marvel Universe. His connection to Venom and Carnage adds a thrilling element to the storyline.

The film is directed by Kelly Marcel, who is making her directorial debut. Tom Hardy and Marcel also co-wrote the script. The movie is produced by Columbia Pictures with Marvel’s collaboration. Filming took place in Cartagena, Spain. The SAG-AFTRA strike delayed the process, but it picked up again in November 2023.

We can’t wait to see how Knull fits into the Venom story. If the rumors are true, ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ will be an exciting addition to Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. The film promises intense action and a deeper dive into the world of symbiotes.
