‘The Boys’ Season 4 Premiere Sets New Records on Prime Video
‘The Boys’ is reaching new levels of popularity with the release of Season 4. According to Amazon, the latest season, which premiered with three episodes on June 13, saw a 21% increase in total viewers compared to Season 3 during its first four days. Season 3 also started with three episodes at launch.
Season 4 has quickly become one of the Top 5 most-watched TV seasons on Prime Video in its first four days. Although Amazon hasn’t shared exact numbers, they did mention that this season had the second-highest viewership for a returning series, just behind ‘Reacher’ Season 2. Each season, ‘The Boys’ has managed to attract more viewers worldwide.
This season has also performed exceptionally well internationally, with 60% of its audience outside the U.S. Amazon highlighted strong viewership in countries like Brazil, the UK, and India.
More detailed data about the show’s performance will be available next month when Nielsen releases its streaming report for Season 4’s debut week. Even though Nielsen doesn’t break down viewership by season, the latest season is expected to help push ‘The Boys’ back into the Top 10.
The show’s continued success is a good sign, showing that we are still excited about it between seasons. Depending on how the rest of the season performs, it could be promising for the already planned fifth and final season.
