‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Wraps Up Filming with Natasha Lyonne and More
Marvel Studios’ reboot ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ has completed another phase of production with Natasha Lyonne finishing her scenes. Although details about her character are still under wraps, fans are buzzing with theories.
Some speculate she might be voicing H.E.R.B.I.E. the robot, while others think she could be playing Alicia Masters, Ben Grimm’s love interest.
In a recent interview with ET, Lyonne expressed her gratitude for being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She remarked, ‘I’m old enough to know that the whole thing is a gift and gravy and rare and [I’m] taking it in stride.’
As anticipation builds, the first official trailer is still on hold, though a leaked version did make its way around the internet after its premiere at San Diego Comic-Con.
The movie boasts a stellar cast including Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm.
Additionally, Julia Garner will make her debut as the Shala-Bal version of the Silver Surfer, and Ralph Ineson has been cast as the formidable villain Galactus.
Kevin Feige has hinted that while the movie is set in an alternate universe, there might be connections to the main MCU storyline in future projects like ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’
Directed by Matt Shakman, ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ is set to be released on July 25, 2025, and filming continues with some interesting set photos already making the rounds online.
