The Ultimate Showdown: Thor vs Hulk in a Zombie Face-Off!

In the latest Marvel comic series ‘Marvel Zombies: Dawn of Decay #2,’ we’re in for a thrilling match-up where the Hulk and Thor battle it out in a no-holds-barred fight. This isn’t just any fight; it’s intensified by a zombie apocalypse. Set for release on October 9, this comic promises a clash that could finally settle who the strongest Avenger really is.

The storyline takes a dark turn as Thor and Hulk, two heroes we’ve known to share similar values, face off with the intent to kill. This drastic shift is sparked by a new alien virus turning heroes into zombies, including the mighty Thor. Hulk, who isn’t affected by the virus, sees Thor as a deadly threat. Meanwhile, Thor, now a zombie, is driven by a supernatural hunger.

Hulk and Thor have been rivals since they first clashed in 1963’s Avengers #1 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Although they’ve fought side-by-side, their rivalry has persisted, with Hulk leaving the Avengers early on due to trust issues. The comic explores not just their physical strengths but their deeply ingrained resentments and frustrations with each other.

In this epic ‘smackdown for the ages,’ Hulk is on a mission to get an antidote to the virus. Bruce Banner, Hulk’s alter ego, believes in saving the zombies, but Hulk wants to smash his way through. ‘Marvel Zombies: Dawn of Decay #2’ is created by Thomas Krajewski and Jason Muhr. Muhr also serves as the cover artist, setting the tone with a gripping visual of a zombie Thor reaching for his hammer Mjolnir.
