‘Venom: The Last Dance’ Shares a New Look at Knull, God Of The Symbiotes
In the upcoming movie ‘Venom: The Last Dance’, Tom Hardy is back as Venom, a complex and beloved character from Marvel. This final installment in the trilogy brings Eddie and Venom into a tight spot as they find themselves being chased by enemies from their own and the outer world. Faced with tough choices, this could very well be the duo’s ultimate showdown.
The film not only brings back familiar faces but also introduces Knull, the God of the Symbiotes, though his role might not be as prominent. Known for creating the first symbiote, All-Black the Necrosword, Knull has powers like controlling symbiotes, immortality, and immense strength. He’s depicted as wanting to push the universe back into darkness.
A new promotional image of Knull has been revealed, looking quite menacing, true to his comic book image. This visual came from an Instagram advertisement, showing him as a formidable adversary.
Sony Pictures has released a promo that features a creature from Knull’s army stepping out of a portal similar to those seen in Marvel’s Doctor Strange films. This hints at Knull’s ability to move his forces across the Multiverse, possibly explaining how he reaches Earth-616.
‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ director Andy Serkis is rumored to be taking on the role of Knull. There’s also buzz about him joining Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock in a future ‘Spider-Man 4’ movie.
The cast for ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ also includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, Stephen Graham, and Rhys Ifans. Kelly Marcel directs the film from a screenplay she co-wrote with Hardy. The production team includes Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy, and Hutch Parker.
Set to hit theaters on October 25, ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ promises to be an exhilarating conclusion to Venom’s cinematic journey, packing action, dark plots, and the ultimate fate of Eddie and his alien symbiote.
