Wesley Snipes May Return as Blade in the MCU Much Sooner Than Anticipated
Rumors are swirling that Wesley Snipes could make an unexpected return to his iconic role as Blade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) sooner than fans might think.
Despite Mahershala Ali gearing up to reboot the character in an upcoming Marvel Studios project, it seems Snipes isn’t done with the Daywalker just yet.
According to the latest scoop from MTTSH, the original Blade actor might reappear in the MCU.
While Ali is set to take the mantle moving forward, Snipes’ return could be more than just a nostalgic cameo.
The buzz around this comes as the character was spotted in the recent film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine,’ where Blade was seen fighting alongside characters like Elektra, played by Jennifer Garner, and X-23, portrayed by Dafne Keen, among others including Gambit, played by Channing Tatum.
If Snipes is indeed coming back, it’s speculated that a significant Multiversal event could be the setting.
Films like ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ provide the perfect backdrop for such epic returns. There are whispers that his return might even be slotted into a project set between ‘Doomsday’ and ‘Secret Wars.’
We will have to stay tuned to see how this unfolds, but one thing is clear: the return of Wesley Snipes as Blade would definitely be a big deal for MCU enthusiasts.
