‘Beastars’ Final Season Set To Close Out Legoshi’s Story On Netflix Next Spring

The rollout has also come with a musical surprise for fans. The new trailer’s ending theme, titled “Tiny Light,” comes from K-pop group SEVENTEEN, a notable crossover for the series’ final stretch. Shinichi Matsumi and Nanami Higuchi are returning as director and scriptwriter for this half of the season, with animation once again handled by Orange, the studio behind the show’s distinctive CG visuals.

Anticipation has only grown as the premiere date has crept closer. 2026 is shaping up to be a major year for returning anime, with ‘Beastars’ joining a wave of high profile comebacks following its acclaimed third season debut in December 2024.
